With a career defined by creativity, leadership, and execution, Anthony Olbres has made an impact in multiple areas of design. From developing advanced automotive concepts to directing large-scale exhibit productions and branded retail environments, Anthony Olbres has consistently demonstrated the ability to turn ideas into high-quality, functional realities.
Anthony Olbres began his professional journey in the automotive industry as a designer with General Motors Styling Staff. During his time there, he contributed to the development of advanced design concepts for major vehicle brands, including Pontiac, Chevrolet, and Cadillac. He also served as head designer of Studio X, a specialized unit focused on experimental vehicle design.
In 2005, he joined INTEREX as a design director. There, he worked with an impressive roster of well-known brands, including Puma, Rossignol, Timberland, Bausch + Lomb, Carrera Eyewear, Sean John, and Keurig. His ability to translate client visions into compelling physical environments contributed to strong customer retention and repeat business.
In 2017, Mr. Olbres founded ENCORE, a branded retail store market, after the sale of INTEREX to investors. He was in charge of every stage of the production process, which included design and proposal writing to sourcing, fabrication, and final installation.
